The Second InPublishing AI Special takes a more practical experiential / case study approach to the subject matter, where the first edition was along more general lines.
We have several of the same luminaries involved this second time around - including Jennifer Schivas - CEO of 67 Bricks, Aliya Itzkowitz - manager at FT Strategies, and Katja Eggert - head of strategic development at Immediate Media.
Our CEO Markus tackles New Product Development again, where he touches on :
Thank you to everyone who made it to our live event last Wednesday. We really love our new St Martin’s Hall venue - and we’re looking to make that our regular spot for these events.
Beautifully centrally located right on Trafalgar Square with exceptions facilities, amenities and catering - we all most certainly loved it. Interesting to know that Amnesty International and The Big Issue were founded from within the same complex!
Mostly because of the threat of Tube strikes and uncertainty ...
It’s not the first time ’West Coast Today’ has been celebrated, as there have been a few articles already this year, including the Newsbrands Scotland one that this feature is based on, and one by InPublishing.
The team at Affino are also excited by the early success of the new unified West Coast Today brand - since we worked alongside the Wyvex team throughout that process, and West Coast Today launched on the Affino Unified Business SaaS.
We explored multiple approaches for evolving ...
In the recent May/June issue of InPublishing Magazine there was an extensive AI Special, featuring insights from 13 experts in the UK publishing sector, on the subject and including our own CEO Markus Karlsson.

Which actually really neatly dovetails into our own experiences and expertise.
All these individual insights come from a learning perspective - that others ...
For our most recent informal team gathering, those of us who could make it on that Thursday evening - gathered at the Electric Shuffle right next to London Bridge station near enough. 2 of the attendees were kind of shuffleboard ringers as they had played before, for most of us though - this was a brand new exhilarating experience!
Our venue was one of two in London - the other is at Canary Wharf, there’s also one in Leeds, and almost 3 in the USA - in Austin, Dallas, and soon to open in ...
So I’ve been spending the last couple of weeks exploring the two current leading AI-Generated Music / Song Platforms - suno.com and www.udio.com.
Chat GPT’s Suno has been around for a while - it’s V3 currently I believe, while Udio - created by 4 former Google DeepMind staffers is currently in Beta and has only been live since April 10th this year.
Each platform is incredibly sophisticated as it generate whole songs - instrumentation, vocals and lyrics wholly automatically - you just ...
Affino CEO Markus Karlsson highlights the current Internet challenges for publishers - and how Affino 9 and Generative AI can provide useful solutions to making the most of the evolving opportunities.
Rob Waugh’s ’Publishing on the open web is broken, how generative AI could help fix it’ article / feature - lists out several of today’s problem areas concerning the current state of the Internet, and how that’s impacting on Publishers in particular.
He then sets out to discover what ...
Nowadays it’s the mobile phone which acts primarily as your digital personal assistant - through a range of helpful bots like Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri. While these bots are to an extent vocally interactive - they are really just scraping the surface when it comes to handling our personal and professional tasks and routines.
Using mobile devices as digital personal assistants, alongside the current generation of AI apps is a start on the journey towards being the digital equivalent ...
It is official now - Google has started phasing out 3rd Party Cookies at last. Initially and for the 1st Quarter of this year - around 1% of Android and Chrome users will have 3rd party cookies locked down in a similar way to how Apple Safari and Firefox have been doing for some years. The remaining 99% will then be weaned off 3rd Party Cookies throughout the second half of this year when using Google applications.
We at Affino have been cautioning the use and reliance on 3rd Party Cookies ...

Affino were thoroughly responsive and communicated well throughout and their team were friendly and willing to help us achieve our ambitious goals.
