The default order confirmation screen is not useful. Reviewing hotjar I see customers pay their money then have no clue where to go.
Is it possible to modify that page depending on the catalogue item acquired? Is it possible to redirect people based on the same?

We are exploring something like this for the Commerce update release, will bring this to the team for extra consideration.
Perhaps you could use the Acknowledgement Message field on the Catalogue Item to write a short message with links to signpost customers?
