If a user reports that no Payment Method appears during checkout, other than Purchase Order, then its likely due to the Catalogue Item having the "Automatic Renewal" option enabled and more than one Good or Digital Asset.
So when a user tries to buy a subscription and the catalogue item has more than one Good or Digital Asset (other than the single Subscription Plan), then only Purchase order will appear as the Payment Method. The other payment methods (Stripe, Go Cardless, etc), will not be displayed.
In summary: users cannot purchase a subscription if the associated catalogue item is set to Automatic Renewal and it has more than one subscription plan or an added good/digital asset (i.e. a Media Item).
