Subscription Payments - Self Management

There may be occasions where you need to generate a renewal order manually or to update an existing renewal to correct the subscription ID and/or the payment taken.
One reason for needing to do this may be due to incorrectly importing of the orders or subscriptions.
Affino enables you to adjust your orders in a very simple workflow.
Please note that only experienced and trained staff should use these capabilities.
Manually generate a renewal order
When a renewal order is due to expire, a renewal bar is displayed at the top of the order, under the following conditions:
-- User has "Payment" system security access
-- Subscription will expire within 7 days
-- Renewal order has not been automatically generated
-- Payment Gateway/Method is GoCardless, Stripe or Paypal - Standard
-- Payment Gateway/Method is Live
1. Check if the Subscription ID is the correct one for that order, against the payment gateway.
This can be amended if incorrect.
2. Click the Generate button.
Affino will check whether this subscription ID exists via the payment gateway API and generate the renewal order.
Note: This only works for auto renewal subscriptions, i.e. subscription that are not a one-off transaction
Update an existing subscription payment
A subscription bar is displayed at the top of the order, under the following conditions:
-- User has "Payment" system security access
-- Renewal order has not been automatically generated
-- Payment Gateway/Method is GoCardless, Stripe or Paypal - Standard
-- Payment Gateway/Method is Live
1. Check the subscription id is the correct one for that order, against the payment gateway. This can be amended if incorrect.
2. Click the Get Payments button. This will check and return the 10 most recent payments made for the given subscription ID via the payment gateway API
3. Select the correct payment made and click the Update button. This will update the payment details for your order.
