Introduction:

With the My Library service, users can now bookmark articles, video and audio such as podcast episodes to their personal My Library.

These can then be watched and listened to, directly within the My Library, and it is easy for users to reference the articles for future reading.

We have added the bookmark functionality to our core templates and design elements.

The bookmarking action is simple and instant with one click to bookmark and one to remove.

The My Library page

This page will display the users bookmarked items such as articles, videos and audios.

It will be controlled by the My Library profile, where you have defined which tabs to display and also change the language for the items (i.e. Podcasts instead of Audio).

Note: The My Library tab is shown on the My Account screen, if there is a My Library channel in the Zone.

Notes:

  • When any user lands on the My Library screen for the first time, the Instructions Popup will be displayed

  • On the Video tab, if the user clicks on the play icon (on top of the thumbnail image) the video will be played in a pop-up
  • If the user scrolls, then the media player will move to the bottom right
  • If a video title is clicked on, the user will be taken to the video detail page
  • On the Audio tab, if the user clicks on the play icon (on top of the thumbnail image) the audio will be played in at the bottom of the page
