Section Import Guide
Overview
Control > Publish > Section Import
The Section Import feature allows you to quickly create Sections that are present in your file.
Fields
Document (file selector):
Use the File selector and to uploads an XLSX spreadsheet with the section data.
Click on 'Choose File' to search your drives or directories for the XLSX file to Upload (file size limit: 100MB)
Make sure to click on Help and download the latest sample file.
The sample file will display the column headings and format you need.
Columns
These are the columns available in the spreadsheet:
- SectionName (required)
- SectionTitle
- ContentType (required)
- PresentationStyle (required)
- ParentSectionCode (required)
- Teaser
- Detail1
- ThumbnailImage
- MainImage
- MainAlt
- SectionScreenName (required)
- Keywords
- PublishStart
- CreatorEmail
Default section settings
The following default settings we be applied to each created Section:
- Item Sort Listing (set to Reverse Chronological)
- Main List Sections (enabled)
- Main List Items (enabled)
- Show External Links Disclaimer (enabled)
- Show Multi Displayed Items (enabled)
- Publish End (set to 100 yrs from Publish Start date)
- Live (enabled)
