Discover Affino
Turning on and exporting ABC Logs
Overview
At Affino we always aim to have the most reliable and high quality stats throughout, and as such we update the stats engines regularly to improve on Affino’s statistical accuracy. This guide will help you log your traffic by filtering out bots defined by ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulation) and Affino. This gives you the ability to export the logs from Affino and upload to your ABC dashboard.
Important note
- Affino will start logging your traffic from the moment you enable ABC logs in the Log Settings component. See how to do this below.
Configuration
1. Enable ABC logs on log settings
Control > Settings > Log Settings
- [ ] ABC Logs - Select to log up to the last 60 days in official ABC log file format.
2. Export File
Control > Settings > ABC Log Export
- Zone - Select the Zone(s) you wish to export the ABC log files for
- From - Select the start date for the log file export, note that only the last 60 days are stored
- End - Select the end date for the log file export. Make sure you select the latest full month or a specific day.
- Log Type [ABC or Affino] - Separately to generating a log file using ABC official bots, which is updated monthly, Affino also provides a file using our bots list which only includes what we know to be real-human page views
