Custom Error Page Set Up

Instructions:

 

1. Upload a background image to Media Items

• if it has a gradient or photographic image, it is best to use JPG
• if it has flat colours then a Gif would compress better

 

 

Copy the URL of this uploaded image:

 

 

 

 

2. Create a New Design Script of Content HTML type

 

3. Copy the following code into the HTML Code field:

 

 

 

- and amend the image URL and background colour as appropriate.

 

Example:

• Image URL: cat.affino.com/AcuCustom/Sitename/DAM/001/Error_Page_Main.png
• Cut down to: /AcuCustom/Sitename/DAM/001/Error_Page_Main.png
• insert shorter URL into the above mentioned HTML code (blue text)

 

 

4. On the Cookie Type field, select No Cookies and save the Design Script

 

5. Go to the Zone and select your Design Script under the Custom Error Page field

 

   

6. To test the error page, you’ll need to trigger an error.
