This is the first in a series of posts to give everyone a quick heads up on some of the up-and-coming tech from the Affino Development Team. At any time we tend to have three or four projects on the go. Some of these are customer focused and some are core Affino focused.
Ultimately they’re all focused on delivering the best Social Commerce services and solutions we can.
As I’ve posted earlier, we have our four priorities:
1) Quality
2) Commerce
3) Community
4) Integration
The Social Connectors project is primarily focused on productivity and engagement. The productivity side comes from the fact that you will manage your Social Campaigns in one place. These are then syndicated through the leading social spaces, via Tweets, Status Updates, Links and News Feeds.
It means that when a blog, article, update, event or product is posted to the main site it sets in motion all the automated promotions you have in place. Content goes out in RSS feeds, via content subscription emails and newsletters, and now via the social connectors directly to Twitter and in the next release also Facebook and LinkedIn.
The Engagement side comes from the ability for every site user to connect and sync between their Affino account and the leading social sites. We’ve made this very simple, just two clicks to connect to each account and one click to disconnect. Once connected, things just work.
