Affino Enormously Enjoyed the 2022 Publisher Podcast Awards, and Heartily Congratulates Best Podcast Launch Winners - Mysteries of Science

A couple of Wednesdays ago -Markus, Susan and I attended the 2nd Live and In-person Publisher Podcast Awards where Affino was headline sponsor alongside Spotify Megaphone. Our own guest of honour was Stephen Licata of da8aflo whom we’ve had a long and fruitful association with.

The  venue, as for the first event of this type, was Proud Cabaret City branch - just off Fenchurch Street at 1 Mark Lane. This is a really cool speakeasy style venue with authentic circular booths and a cool underground Cabaret / Jazz Club feel.

We’re proud and honoured to have been sponsoring these awards - as Affino is all about supporting and nurturing growth of outstanding business and talent - and you can’t get finer than the core Media Voices / Publisher Podcast Awards Trio of Chris Sutcliffe, Esther Kezia Thorpe, and Peter Houston.

As well as sponsoring the overall Awards, Affino also supported the ’Best Podcast Launch’ which on this occasion was deservedly claimed by Mysteries of Science, from Future PLC.

The Venue, Refreshments and Awards were largely as smooth as could be - while there were just a few oddities with the running order.

This was a great event with superb ambience and hopefully a sign of even better things to come ...
