All Guitar-related articles have moved across to New Site - GuitarPedalX.com

Such was the popularity of some of the guitar posts made on this blog that we decided to separate that content onto its own site which is now fully live today. If you have been a fan of the guitar / pedal posts that used to appear here, then you will see a lot more of the same on ’Guitar Pedal X’.

We’ve made it a lot easier for you to find content within the different categories and there are various tools and views on the new site to make the whole experience a whole lot more enjoyable. For the purposes of Affino - I will be doing a case study of what it took to transfer the site across - and what the challenges and pitfalls were.

For most people though it’s just a smart new site which fully serves the purpose it was intended for. I believe this is the ideal format for a topical musical devices blog, and I’ve set it up so that interested parties can subscribe to content updates via automated alerts - so no newsletter scheduling required on my behalf.

I’ve set up redirects from all the original articles on Affino over to GPX - and by the end of this week, all trace of those guitar articles will be removed from this original blog.

For those that enjoyed the guitar posts, I hope you find the new GPX site an even more enjoyable experience.
